A Commemorative Celebration to Honour Our Heroes
Event Details
The Royal British Legion is honoured to host an Armed Forces Day event at Worksop’s Rugby Club, Stubbing Lane, S80-1NF. This significant celebration is set to be grander than ever, spanning over two days:
• Saturday, 28th June: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Sunday, 29th June: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Entry to the event is free, and ample parking is available for all attendees.
Food and Beverages
Throughout the event, the bar will remain open, offering a variety of refreshments. A diverse selection of food will be provided by the Rugby Club, complemented by offerings from Bewitched Sensations and Treat Yourself by JC. For those with a sweet tooth, ice cream will also be available from Manfr

The event boasts a wide range of activities and entertainment suitable for all ages, including:

Live Music
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the stage will feature live performances by the brilliant Miss Lily Lovejoy, who will be accompanied by Blidworth Band. We also have a brilliant singer called Linda who will be performing for us.. We will also have ‘Klassicrock Band’ and Martine with his vintage Fairground Organ
