Join us for a fabulous evening of music on August 22nd! The 8th Annual Jazz+ Live (formerly Jazz at Sunset) featuring Nicole Zuraitis.
GRAMMY® Award-winning jazz vocalist, pianist, and songwriter Nicole Zuraitis is redefining the genre with her powerhouse voice and original compositions. Her latest album, How Love Begins, co-produced with Christian McBride, earned her the 2024 GRAMMY® for Best Jazz Vocal Album, making her the only artist to ever win the award for a fully self-written and arranged record. Zuraitis has captivated audiences at Birdland, Blue Note and Jazz at Lincoln Center, where she recently sold out her bandleader debut at Dizzy’s Club.
A dynamic force on and off the stage, Nicole is a passionate environmentalist and educator who’s performed with top orchestras and collaborated with artists including Jon Batiste, Keb’ Mo’ and Morgan James. Her creative achievements have been recognized with accolades from Broadway World, Forbes and Connecticut Magazine, and her genre-spanning impact continues to resonate worldwide.
Come and enjoy the cool sounds of live jazz as the area behind the theatre is transformed into an outdoor, picnic-style concert venue, featuring food trucks and cash bars. You are welcome to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages.
