We will be taking part in Open Farm Sunday again this year on 8th June 2025, and running a Family Fun Day alongside it at Bennetts Willow Barn, our farm cafe & events venue on the farm. Our commercial dairy in Lower Wick will be open to visitors (who have pre-booked an entry time slot) between 11am and 4.30pm. Last entry is strictly by 4pm, please.
We will be opening up our farm, which produces milk for over 10,000 families every day, and taking part in this year’s Open Farm Sunday event: a chance to visit your local farm, meet our cows and the farmers, and see what really goes on to produce your food. Have a play on our vintage milk floats and tractors, and meet some of our "pet" farm animals too - pigs (hopefully with piglets!) lambs & poultry, too.
Tickets are limited so please book soon to secure your entry slot! We will be running a timed ticketing system giving you a 30 minute entry slot. You can stay as long as you want until the 4:40pm finish time. Please bring either a print out of your ticket or have it ready on your phone for us to scan the QR code. Tickets are £5 each per adult & £2 for under 16s (under 3s are free) (VAT included).
Please wear wellies!
Parking will be in the Bennetts Willow Barn car park and overflow area in the field next door – please then follow the Open Farm Sunday signs up to the main farmyard via the cafe once you have parked.
Our farm cafe at Bennetts Willow Barn will be open all day with a later than usual closing time of 4.30pm (opening at 9:30am for breakfasts – we suggest you book a table via the Willow Barn website), with a giant tractor bouncy castle slide in the garden (minimum spend of £5 per child gives unlimted bouncing) along with freshly baked stone-baked pizzas, Bennetts Ice Cream and a licensed bar (alcohol served from 12pm).
Please bring a picnic blanket, and make sure you wear suitable footwear, even if it is dry, as the farmyard will be mucky!
Very well behaved dogs are welcome on short leads, but please be sensible about bringing your dog – we can not have them barking at the cows and worrying them in any way, please so we do suggest you leave them at home.
Children must be kept under close supervision at all times - farms are dangerous places,
