Join us to celebrate all things floral at the opening Friday, August 1, from 6-9pm. Cordella’s is popping up at the Gallery with flower-inspired beverages available for purchase. Dress code: Hunchback Gallery is a “come as you are” kind of space, but we encourage you to get into the theme of this show and wear something floral!
Florilegia: A group show in full bloom, on view August 1-23, 2025.
Flowers are the focus. Real ones. Imagined ones. Lego ones. Scanned, painted, abstracted, or reassembled. Some appear on canvas, others through a screen or in augmented reality. Florilegia is a celebration of all things floral, whether it’s a single perfect bloom or something pulled from the shape, symbolism, or strange energy of a flower.
We’re filling the gallery with petals, pixels, paint, and whatever else shows up. Come see how a bunch of artists turned one theme into something wildly varied and full of life.
Florilegia features works by:
Abu Mwenye, Adrienne Wooster, Alena Sokolova, Amber Cedillo, Brian Tanzer, Carlyn Schwingbeck, Christine Brown, Eamon Gillen, Gretchen Romey-Tanzer, Hector Cedillo, Jennessa Burks, Jeremy Lee, Jeremy Schilling, John Vo, Marissa Haralambides, Michelle Koza, Mihoko Wakabayashi, Morgan Freeman, Nate Fisk, Octopus Skeleton, Rosemary Lebeau, Sara Fallahkhayr, Scott Erskine, Stacey Lee, and more.
Hunchback Gallery is on the 2nd floor of 75 Webster Street, Worcester, MA, accessible by stairs or freight elevator. Free parking is available in the lot across the street.
