Dear Members,
Our next Day Outing will be at Tierkloof 4x4 in Rawsonville, about 100km from Cape Town.
This 12 kilometre, circular trail, with a grading of 3 to 4, offers some escape options at particularly challenging spots. The trail usually takes drivers between two and four hours to complete (depending on their personal skills and the abilities of their vehicles).
There are some steep climbs along tricky terrain that comprises sand, loose rocks and rocky steps. At the highest point of the trail, Bloukop, there are stunning views of the Western Cape winelands and the beautiful expanses of the Brandvlei Dam. Some of the best obstacles of the Tierkloof 4x4 Trail are found in the soft sand on the return part of the route, and include a steep climb in this soft terrain.

Time: Drivers' meeting at 10:00am
Trail cost: R280 per vehicle, payable in cash at the venue
Lunch: A picnic lunch at the viewpoint, please bring your own camping chair, food, and drinks.

Important Notes:
- Only fully paid up members of the club will be allowed to participate in this event.
- Vehicles taking part must be fitted with appropriate recovery points (front and rear).
- Recovery Gear, including Recovery strap, Tyre repair kit, & Compressor.
- Please do not litter: take all cigarette stompies and packaging, etc, away with you.
- No dogs or quad bikes allowed!
