Experienced choral singers are invited to join St Martin's Choir for a BCP Choral Evensong, featuring music by Frederick Gore Ouseley and Herbert Sumsion, including a much-loved anthem written by Sumsion specially for St Martin's Choir.
The 'Come and Sing' Choir will be directed by eminent choral conductor Paul Trepte, Organist Emeritus of Ely Cathedral and former Assistant Organist of Worcester Cathedral.

Dr Herbert Sumsion was Organist and Master of the Choristers at Gloucester Cathedral from 1928 to 1967. He dedicated this wonderful anthem to Trevor Tipple and the Choir of St Martin’s Church, in 1983.

Service starts at 6.00pm
Everyone is welcome to attend the service.
There is no need to book if you wish to join the congregation for the service at 6pm - a traditional cathedral-style Choral Evensong with congregational hymns.
