Arms and Armor Demonstration: 17th-Century Colonial Militia

Did you know that arms and armor were used even in early Colonial America? In this interactive demonstration discover the weapons and equipment early European settlers in New England used for defense. This program is presented by The Salem Trayned Band a re-enacting group that accurately recreates a 17th-century English colonial militia unit from Salem Massachusetts.
