FAQs
Q: Do I have to bring something to barter?
A: No! You're welcome to just come and enjoy the fun and fellowship. You can read about how the Barter Party will work here on the registration page.
Q: I work until 5. Can I come late?
A: Absolutely! Feel free to arrive whenever you can. We won't follow a strict schedule for the evening. Some people might even stay after 8 pm to chat longer.
Q: Is someone speaking or presenting anything?
A: This evening is just for fun and fellowship. There won't be a speaker or planned events. But there's a playground right by the pavilion, so kids will have lots to do. And that means parents will have ample opportunities to chat and connect with one another. And if you have health questions you want answered, there will be a wealth of knowledge from people willing to chat about it.
Q: Can I bring a friend who hasn't come to a SWH event?
A: For sure! This can be a great way to introduce someone to Seeking Whole Health so they feel comfortable coming to our conference or workshops.
Q: If I bring something to barter, but don't see anything I want, do I have to trade?
A: You get to decide what you'll barter for. If nothing there suits your fancy, you're welcome to take your goodies home. You might also make connections for bartering after our potluck. Barter details are on the registration page.
Q: Are the tickets really just $5?
A: Yes! We want this to be a family-friendly event at a family-friendly price. The low ticket price helps us offset some of our costs while making it accessible to anyone who wants to come.
Q: What if the weather is bad?
A: We'll get together, rain or shine. But if there's severe weather that would make it unsafe to be outside, we'll cancel and refund ticket fees.
One of our favorite things about the conference and our smaller workshops is seeing our community connections grow. We love watching new friendships begin!
After all, the natural health experience is always better with friends.
We hope to see you at this fun evening, enjoying good food, likeminded friends, and maybe even a little bartering.
