Join Canny and Hall at The Cave Inn on July 5 as they launch their new single ‘Eat the Rich (But When I’m Rich, Don’t Eat Me)’ and the latest issue of their zine!
Playing an eclectic set of quirky, catchy, sometimes poignant punk-inspired songs featuring outlandish scenarios and recurring characters, Canny and Hall will be joined by three other local bands all with their own unique style.
Shakes Fear and the Skeleton Gang are Queensland’s hottest horror-blues quintet, featuring immortal time-travelling hobo Shakes Fear and his atrocious associates. With lyrical content covering plagues, skeletons and mad doctors, their tunes are guaranteed to rattle your bones.
The Cassingles blend punk and goth in a fast and fun way, tackling morbid topics with humour. If you like a mix of funny punk songs and dark murder ballads, they’re the band for you.
Dr Peppernickle's Orphanarium of Obese Aristocrats is a drum and bass duo putting their own spin on garage prog, with an experimental and psychedelic edge.
