Yoga Nidra — The Art of Deep Rest
Yoga Nidra, often called “yogic sleep,” is a guided meditation practice that gently leads you into a state of profound relaxation while the mind remains quietly aware. Resting in savasana, you will be guided through body awareness, breath, and subtle sensations, shifting from thinking to feeling. Through techniques such as a body scan and setting a sankulpa (heart-centered intention), Yoga Nidra supports emotional release, nervous system regulation, and deep rest.
One session of Yoga Nidra is said to offer benefits equivalent to several hours of sleep, making it a powerful tool
for healing, stress reduction, and restoring your inner balance.
At Riverstone Wellness, you are invited to experience this sacred practice in our cozy hammocks, or traditionally on your mat—whichever feels most nurturing to your body.
