You asked, we listened - test labs are back for the remainder of the summer! Same great stem-ventures, same awesome location, slightly modified time. We’ll jump right in NEXT Tuesday, July 22nd from 6-7:30pm at @dogoodoxfordcounty
Our theme next week is Platformer Party! We’re going to experiment with different ways to interact with the classic games we (the parents) all grew up playing.
💡 Design, draw and colour a game scene of your own on cardstock, then bring it to life with a glowing power-up block!
🐭 Help our fleet of robot mice navigate a tricky level full of perilous obstacles to rescue princess cheese from her captor’s castle, plan your path and send him on his mission!
👾 Build a one screen platformer of your own using ScrathJr, design a character and code his journey over, under and through to the finish line!
🎮 Construct gamepad controls from cardboard and aluminum foil and then test your wits and your reaction time dodging obstacles on screen with your feet!
Pre-register on the website (link in bio) and drop-in whenever you can, stay as long as you’d like. The drop-in fee is $20 and can be paid online (credit card or e-transfer) or in cash at the door.
