Happy Accidents Tour- Artist Demonstration

Why call it Happy Accidents? Judy Knott will be giving a demonstration all about creating collage papers on a gel plate. Two papers never come out the same thus they are happy accidents. Judy will show several techniques on how to create these fun and colorful papers and THEN create a piece of art from those same papers.

Judy Knott is a self-taught artist who became interested in creating her own artwork while employed full-time as a data analyst and program trainer in the medical field.  Upon retiring she started studying in earnest and went on to receive her Master Artist Certification from Sacramento Fine Arts Center in 2016.

Judy started focusing on mixed media while transitioning from representational to abstract art.  Her explorations have her to using paper, fabric, thread, and cardboard to create unique pieces.

"I’ve never been one to do the same thing over and over.  I like to challenge myself to go further, to expand my horizons and to find new ways to get excited about my own art.  I know that if I’m excited the viewer will sense that sensation through my art." - Judy Knott

All those who attend the demonstration are eligible to win the collage abstract artwork that Judy creates during the demonstration.
