Birth Providers Lunch & Learn

Join us for a special Birth Providers Lunch & Learn hosted by the team at Awake Pelvic Health & Wellness!

This in-person event is designed for doulas, midwives, chiropractors, and birth workers who want to better understand how pelvic floor physical therapy supports pregnant and postpartum clients. We’ll walk you through what our care actually looks like—from hands-on techniques to collaborative birth prep planning—and how we can be a trusted resource for your clients.

You'll learn:

• How pelvic PT can support pregnancy, birth, and postpartum healing
• What’s included in our Birth Prep Program
• How we help clients prepare for pushing and labor positions
• When to refer someone to pelvic PT (and what’s "normal" vs. what’s not)
• Live demos (more info below!)

We'll end with a live demo of an internal pelvic floor exam (on a model) and a C-section scar mobilization session—so you can see how we approach care from a gentle, consent-based, and whole-body lens.
