Sutton Hoo 1400 - Anglo-Saxon Living History with Wulfheodenas and friends

As we celebrate what is believed to be 1400 years since the Sutton Hoo Great Ship Burial join Anglo-Saxon living history groups Wulfheodenas, Thegns of Mercia, Moro Music and friends from across the world for a weekend packed full of activities.

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Anglo-Saxon world as we are joined by living history experts from across the world celebrating what is believed to be 1400 years since the Great Ship Burial.

Wulfheodenas are leading the event but will be joined by friends including Thegns of Mercia and Moro Music who will be performing with their Anglo-Saxon replica lyres.

Walk through the Anglo-Saxon camp to see craftsmen hard at work, warriors dressed ready for battle and King Raedwald himself in his ceremonial regalia. There will be some special timed activities over the course of the weekend.
