Rachel Haymer is a soulful Jewish musician and educator who brings joy and connection through music. Known as the Shaloha Ambassador, Rachel blends her Hawaiian roots with her Jewish heritage and world music influences as a composer of both liturgical and secular pieces. A co-director of Rappers and Rabbis and performer with Music Under New York, she shares original songs that blend heart, humor, and meaning. Formerly the Cantorial Soloist at Temple Emanu-El in Honolulu, Rachel now works with Tkiya to create inclusive, musical experiences for families and communities. Her songs such as “Vegetarian Dinosaur” and “Love Song for the Disconnected Child” are streaming on all major platforms.
