INVITATION
**You are warmly invited to participate in this year's packing event taking place on Saturday, November 1, 2025.**
St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Woodbridge is co-sponsoring this event this year, and we are so grateful to be able to continue this wonderful community service opportunity with each of you. When people from all parts of the community join together, they create the most impact.

8:30 am - set up
10 am - meal packing
~noon - clean up
*Registration is required, and the link is below.
*There will be roles for all ability levels: seated jobs like sealing and placing stickers, as well as standing jobs or carrying heavy bags of food into the church.
*Refreshments will be provided
OUR GOAL
Packing 20,000 meals that will be sent to hungry people around the world. (Last year, the 20,000 meals we packed went to the Philippines).
It takes at least 60 volunteers to achieve this goal, and it costs $8,400.
WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP
There are several ways you can help:

2. Tell your friends about this event and encourage them to participate in this fun, energetic, life-giving service opportunity.
3. If you are part of an organization, see if they are willing to make an announcement about this event to their members. You might also ask if they are able to make a contribution towards our $8,400 goal (or consider if you are able to make an individual donation above and beyond your organization's contribution). Donations can be made through the registration link.
