A practical (on foot, no horses) evening for anyone who wants to know more about being part of the team to run competitions under indoor driving, ICD-UK, rules.
Everyone welcome. Absolute beginners to intermediate/improvers: Drivers, backsteppers, judges, helpers and organisers will all find this useful - if you want to join in, you’re welcome. There is something for everyone.
We’ll cover the basics of setting up for each phase - Precision & Paces (P&P/dressage), cones, and obstacles - how the competition works, what kit you need, key roles and responsibilities, rules to remember, measurements, safety and other issues. Practice and theory.
Resources will be provided: come ready to help!
Fiona Powell is a listed British Carriage driving course designer, she established indoor driving in East Anglia and is a keen driving trials competitor indoors and out.
