Folksy Theatre invites you to experience a brand new musical adaptation of this classic tale, touring open air throughout summer 2025! Set against the enchanting backdrop of the eerie Sherwood Forest, this whimsical production sees King John and the Sheriff of Nottingham trying to thwart the legendary outlaw, Robin Hood and his band of merry men as they steal from the rich to give to the poor.
Will Robin and his band escape the Sheriff’s clutches? And whose side is Maid Marian truly on?
Filled with Folksy’s signature live music, audience interaction, and delightful silliness, this adaptation promises to have you laughing and singing along! Don’t miss out on this unforgettable summer adventure!
You are welcome to bring your own folding chairs and picnic blankets as seating is not provided. Our tearoom will be open for take-away refreshments.
Please dress for the outdoors as the performance will go ahead in wet weather. Gazebo's are not permitted and we would ask you to be mindful of obscuring the view of others with umbrellas if wet. The shows go on whatever the weather (unless fork lightning).
Tickets are non refundable. Only assistance dogs are permitted during the performance.
The gardens and Manor will be open prior to the performance, with last entry to the Manor at 4pm and then the site closes at 5pm. If you would like to visit on the day of the performance before 4pm, admission prices will apply for non National Trust members.
