This is an adult (18+) needle felting workshop aimed at beginners and first time needle felters. Natalie is a fine artist using needle felting and the creator of Roly Poly Ponies.
In the morning (10.30-12:30) the basics of what type of wool and needles are best for sculpting will be explained and then you will use some basic techniques to make the Christmas pudding bauble.
We will break for lunch and an opportunity to get some fresh air in the grounds at 12.30. We will then return at 13:30 and will now use the techniques learned in the morning to make a stylised round robin bauble.
You will leave the workshop with two needle felted baubles ready to hang on your tree.
Admission to Wightwick Manor is included and you will be able to view the house and grounds during the lunch break and you are welcome to stay up until closing time once the workshop has ended.
Note that as Wightwick Manor is a historical venue, some floors may be unlevel and you will have to negotiate a flight of stairs. stairs.
