Corn Dolly Creation: A Gratitude Offering to the Earth
Overview:
Join us in a sacred seasonal workshop where we will craft traditional corn dollies—woven figures made from the last sheaves of the harvest—honoring the ancient practice of giving thanks to the Earth for her abundance. This hands-on ritual will center around imbuing your corn dolly with the energy of gratitude, creating a personal offering to the land and the spirits of the harvest.
Together, we’ll explore the folklore and symbolism behind corn dollies across cultures, learn traditional weaving techniques, and infuse our creations with heartfelt intentions through meditation, elemental blessing, and collective ritual.
This is more than a crafting session—it’s a moment of reconnection with the rhythms of nature, a time to reflect on what has nourished us, and to offer our thanks in return.
