Spring has sprung and BWA is bounding into the Illawarra region to hold a three day dance workshop with some wonderful guest teachers including Vicki Attard and Hannah Nash. We will be brining a little bit of variety and excitement to the thriving dance scene so prevalent in the area.
The workshop is open to everyone from any dance school, from ages 7 plus. We welcome people of all abilities and experience levels and our gifted teachers cater to everyone’s individual needs to ensure an enriching and uplifting experience is had by everyone involved.
It is a great way to extend your dancing horizons, to keep active during the school break and to meet other like minded and passionate dancers in the area.
On the last day, October 1st, we will hold a community concert showcasing the talent and sharing the joy of all those who have participated in the workshop and featuring a special performance of a new choreographic work with music by local composer Datu Begley, performed live by musical trio Kcusi.
We are thrilled to be collaborating with and have the support of Wollongong Conservatorium of Music in this event in a holistic celebration of the arts in the region.
Classes will run from 9am to 3pm each day.
The three day workshop is $320
(If unable to attend all three days, please get in touch. We are always happy to accomodate keen dancers!)
