E.1027 – Eileen Gray and the House by the Sea

She built a house for herself—unfortunately, it turned out to be a masterpiece. When Irish designer Eileen Gray builds a refuge on the Côte d‘Azur in 1929, she names it E.1027. Architect Le Corbusier becomes obsessed with her work, covering the walls with murals, leading to an ongoing conflict between the two. A powerful story about the power of one woman’s creative expression and a man’s desire to control it.
