Sophie has spent her life stuck in a dead-end job, living in a small flat, yearning for adventure. After hitting the lottery jackpot, Bruce Lovell enters her life, a handsome and charming stranger who sweeps her off her feet. In a whirlwind romance, she recklessly abandons her job, friends and fiancé to settle in the remote and blissful surroundings of a country cottage.

However, her newfound “love from a stranger” is not what it seems, and before long, Sophie discovers the ghastly truth of her new love.

Originally written in the 1930s, Agatha Christie’s Love from a Stranger is a remarkably contemporary thriller brought up to date to 2025.
