The Dragon Boat Races and Family Fun Day are back on Sunday 8th June 2025!

It’s set to be another oar-some day at the Dragon Boat Races and family fun day 2025.

FREE ENTRY & FREE PARKING.

Get your Dragon Boat teams of family, friends, colleagues or team mates together and take on the challenge to see if you can be crowned the champions of the lake.

It is a fantastic way to spend a Sunday in June, with friends, family or colleagues, splashing across Goldsworth Park Lake – whether you are out to impress with your rowing prowess or just out for fun, we can guarantee a fabulous fun day, all in aid of the best cause.

Alongside the Dragon Boat Races will be our family fun day, so you can enjoy a range of stalls, refreshments including Pimms, our famous tombola, hot food and children’s activities as well as enjoying the spectacle of the boat races, and cheering on your favourite team. All in aid of hospice care.

8.30am – Safety briefing for teams
9.50am – Warm-up and ‘Awakening’ ceremony with Chinese Lions
10am to 3.30pm – Dragon boat races
3.30/4pm – Prize giving and closure of stalls
