We are going back to our original schedule for the August walk and meeting at the popular Aspley Woods, Woburn Sands.
This walk is a very pleasant walk under the shade of the trees, followed by refreshments at the end. Everyone is welcome to join in but there are a few rules.
WEATHER: We’ll keep a close eye on the predicted temperatures and if the weather is hot, we may need to cancel. You know your dogs best and we expect you to make the right choice for them on the day.
The walk is not suitable for all and can be on uneven surface. We’ll take it slowly and it will last 45-60 mins. We can also arrange a shorter walk for those that need it, please ask on arrival.
Don’t forget that all dogs need to be kept on their leads at all times and muzzles should be worn by those dogs that require them.
Everyone is welcome on our walks, we ask though that owners of non sighthounds respect that we will have homeless hounds with us who are new to the big wide world and may not have had lots of experience of group walks. They may get excited around smaller breeds.
There is free parking at the very top of Church Lane where we will be meeting. It can get very busy though so you may need to park on the nearby roads. Please be considerate of the residents when parking.
