📢 Future Engineers, Assemble! 📢
The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) / Penn State University (PSU) SeAL Challenge is back for its fourteenth year! This free, high-impact STEM initiative introduces middle and high school students to engineering through hands-on robotics.
Students have several months to design, build, and budget for an unmanned vehicle—a Sea submersible, an Air drone, or a Land rover—mentored by a professional engineer. The systems then compete in missions mimicking real-world scenarios for military and first responders.
Why Participate?
1. Tackle a complex engineering project in your school.
2. Explore technical careers in the Department of Defense and armed forces.
3. Bring a proven, effective STEM program into your school's curriculum or club.
The program is FREE for students, schools, and organizations.
📍 SWVA Regional Challenge Day: Saturday, April 25, 2026, hosted by STREAMWISE at The University of Virginia’s College at Wise.
School registration is OPEN! Secure your spot today and let the innovation begin!
