The Garth Newel Piano Quartet is known for their spirited and impassioned performances that offer an enlivened interpretation of both standard and new repertoire. As artists-in-residence at Garth Newel Music Center, one of the premier and most active chamber music organizations in the United States, they program and perform over 50 concerts each year, engaging with audiences through conversational and interactive programs on the national and international stage. They've performed at such prominent venues as Carnegie Hall, Strathmore Hall, and The Chautauqua Institution.
The Garth Newel Piano Quartet will perform on Monday, May 11th at 7 p.m. in Cantrell Hall at UVA Wise with a talkback to follow. The concert is free and open to all. This performance is brought to you in conjunction with the W. Campbell Edmonds and Clinch Valley Concert Series and in partnership with UVA Wise.
