Free Advance Care Planning Sessions at Aspirus Riverview Hospital

Who will make medical decisions for you if you can’t speak for yourself? Many people don’t realize that Wisconsin and Michigan are not next-of-kin states, meaning that spouses, adult children, or other family members are not automatically authorized to make decisions on your behalf. That’s why all adults should complete an Advance Directive—a document that ensures your wishes are honored and designates a trusted person as your Power of Attorney for Healthcare.

Aspirus Riverview Hospital offers free Advance Care Planning sessions in a group setting on scheduled dates and one-on-one appointments by request.

📍 Location: Aspirus Riverview Hospital, 410 Dewey Street, Wisconsin Rapids, WI (Lower Level – Check in at the front desk)

🕘 Group Sessions: 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM (Appointment preferred; session may be canceled if no one is signed up)
