COPPER FOIL STAINED GLASS GARDEN ORNAMENT WORKSHOP
Sunday 12 October 9.45 am – 1.00 pm
£70 including refreshments, materials, use of equipment on the day, tutoring, comprehensive notes to take home along with your garden ornament on a stake.
This half-day group workshop with our guest tutor, Dawn Brown, is suitable for all skill levels.
During the workshop, Dawn will cover some of the health & safety elements of working with glass and soldering.
You'll be given demonstrations in cutting, grinding, foiling and soldering.
You'll choose your design from a selection of patterns where the glass is pre-cut ready to use.
Having foiled your pieces, you'll then make up your ornaments using the pattern and pins.
Under Dawn's expert guidance, you'll solder your pieces together, solder the stake to your creation and then polish your piece.
Dawn will bring examples of her work to inspire you.
All materials are provided.
Please wear clothes you don't mind getting messy.
This COPPER FOIL STAINED GLASS GARDEN ORNAMENT experience will be held in the peaceful setting of our Blended Monkey studios on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border.
Numbers are limited to ensure you get plenty of 1-2-1 tuition.
This relaxing workshop is suitable for 16+.
About a week before your workshop date, we'll e-mail you again with more details about parking etc.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the session - tailored to meet all dietary requirements.
All students will be provided with a certificate of completion.
