Through the Whole Bible (Chronologically) in 2025
The Bible contains around 775,000 words, and the average adult reads 250 words per minute. So with just a 15-20 minutes per day commitment, you can read the entire Bible in 365 days! We are challenging all CenterPointers to commit to read through the entire Bible in 2025. For those who are interested in journeying together as a group, we will offer a Bible Study Group for Youth and Adults on Wednesday evenings. At our weekly group sessions we will cover the assigned chapters from the previous week; we will share together our insights, challenges, and questions; we will add additional Bible study background and resources; and we will highlight key sections in the prior week’s coverage. We will emphasize how the whole Bible is about Jesus and God’s plan of salvation through Him.
We will begin the group on January 8, 2025 with Days 1-7
The group will be great for Youth and Adults
You are welcome to join the group in progress any time during the year
You are welcome to join the reading challenge and make occasional Wed. nights
You are welcome to join the challenge without attending the group
We will use the reading plan chapter assignments for each day, Days 1-365, from THE BIBLE RECAP: A One-Year Guide to Reading and Understanding the Entire Bible, which arranges the entire Bible in chronological order. We recommend that you purchase the book and/or follow the daily podcast to further enrich your experience. Each day’s readings have a 2-page summary and application in the book or a parallel explanation in the podcast.
