About the event

Youth Media Projects
Youth Media Projects is a chance for the youth in Douglas County to create powerful Public Service Announcements (PSAs) that shine a light on the issues that matter most to them.

If you are a teen who is passionate about filmmaking, acting, or the arts, this will be an amazing opportunity where we will guide you through the entire production process— from brainstorming and storyboarding to filming and editing, turning your ideas into impactful videos.

The final PSAs will be showcased on social media and local TV, giving your voice a platform to reach the community.

Workshops will be held weekly on Wednesdays:

May 7th, 14th, 21st, & 28th all from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the Foursquare church in Winston.

We will aim for a filming day on the last Saturday of the month, however this is subject to change depending on the kids’ schedules.
