The Magick of Ancient Runes

As we study these runes, we’ll dive into how they were used—not just for writing, but also for magical purposes like protection, divination, and connecting with the unseen. Through historical context, and guided reflection, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how these symbols were carved into stone, wood, and metal, and what they can teach us today about ancient wisdom and intuition. Whether you’re here out of curiosity or to deepen your spiritual practice, this class offers a rich and rewarding experience into the mysterious world of runes.

Sue McClain, formerly known as Sue Garcia, is descended from generations of Appalachian witches. She has studied and honed her craft for many years in private studies and through advanced studies at the Wild Witch Academy of Australia. Sue follows Egyptian Kemetic Orthodox and Lokean traditions. She is adept in many magic styles including Chaos Magick, Egyptian Hera, Green Witchery, Appalachian Folk Magick, and Norse rune and sigil magick. Sue is a retired psychotherapist and clinical hypnotherapist who now uses hypnotism techniques to help others access past lives and spirit guides.
