Storytime at Bookmarks: Book with Purpose

Join us for a special edition of Storytime at Bookmarks celebrating our Book with Purpose program!

• Saturday, June 28 at Bookmarks Bookstore, 634 W. Fourth St. #110, Winston-Salem, NC
• Doors Open: 10:00 AM
• Storytime Begins: 10:30 AM
• Activities for children and families will take place from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

family-friendly morning features read alouds of the inspiring picture books, All Because You Matter andWe Are Here written by Tami Charles.

These powerful stories honor identity, hope, and the importance of every voice.

FREE books available for adults!
All attending adults are invited to pick up a free copy of this year’s Book with Purpose selection, The Sum of Us by Heather McGhee , available in both the original and Young Readers editions, while supplies last.

Copies of All Because You Matter and We Are Here will be available for purchase at the event and with registration.

This event is free and open to the public. Come celebrate the power of books to build empathy, spark conversation, and bring our community together.

Saturday morning Storytimes are a Bookmarks staple. There's always a reading, whether it is performed by the author of the book or by another storyteller. Some activities have included slime making, face painting, bracelet making, and a petting zoo. Storytimes are free events that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
