Storytellers in Action - Kids Summer Camp (Drama Week)

Calling all future directors, actors, editors, and dreamers! Get ready for a jam-packed week of creativity, laughter, and movie-making magic at our one-of-a-kind Filmmaking Camp, designed especially for curious and creative kids ages 8–14! Do you have a budding filmmaker on your hands? Let them create out their very own dramatic movie!

From Day One, your camper will jump into the exciting world of filmmaking, learning how movies are made, then turning their own wild and wonderful ideas into real short films! The week kicks off with a fast-paced screenwriting session where kids write their own stories and team up to bring them to life.

By midweek, it’s all action! Campers will direct, act, and shoot their own original films, working hands-on with real equipment and seasoned industry professionals who help bring their visions to life. On Thursday, the magic continues as they dive into editing and optional special effects to polish their final cut.

And Friday? That’s showtime! Campers will design their own movie posters, hear inspiring tips from a surprise guest speaker, and roll out the red carpet for our End-of-Week Film Festival: a celebration where friends and family are invited to cheer them on and watch their finished films on the big screen!

Every camper leaves with their own movie, trailer, and poster on a personal thumb drive, ready to share their big-screen debut with the world.
