Winston-Salem-based singer-songwriter Tiffany Thompson invites the city into a vibrant evening of music, poetry, visual art, and creative communion with “Me and the Muse: An Evening of Creativity with Tiffany Thompson & Friends.”
This dynamic, multidisciplinary gathering is part of Thompson’s bold 16-month project Found Love—a slow-release album that goes far beyond music. Each month from July 2025 to November 2026, a new single is unveiled alongside essays, photographs, handwritten lyrics, and cinematic short films—offered through a digital sanctuary called the Found Love Portal.
“The Portal is an invitation to slow down,” says Thompson. “To let art take its time. To meet beauty with stillness. It’s not fast content—it’s a slow offering.”
The September 3rd event celebrates the release of the song “Me and the Muse,” a track that explores the sacred relationship between the artist and inspiration. Originally conceived in a tiny West Village apartment and developed over years of artistic evolution, the song now takes center stage—anchored in new lyrics that evoke wonder, memory, and creative devotion:
“Dancing in the twilight / Secrets only my mind / Ever really understands…”
Joining Thompson onstage will be an incredible lineup of nationally and locally recognized artists and performers, including:
Playwright Nathan Ross Freeman
Calligrapher David Chang
Painter Erin Shaw
Composer Michael Anderson
...and more.
The evening is free and open to the public (RSVPs encouraged via Facebook). It’s not just a concert—it’s a gift to the city. A chance to celebrate our shared creative soul.
