Have some summer fun with this Improv intensive. In this camp students will go through each of the steps for being a great improv performer. From creating your character to thinking on your feet this intensive will improve your acting skills along with familiarizing you with improv techniques.

Director: Britt Cannino
Britt Cannino has taught adult acting classes at the Little Theatre since 2018. She was last seen on stage as Sylvia the dog in ‘Sylvia’ as well as the “Kaleidoscope: the plays of Ray Bradbury” at the Little Theatre. She graduated with a degree in Acting and Directing from UNC Greensboro, where she created the first improv troupe and has performed with touring troupes such as the Second City and Upright Citizen’s Brigade. Britt has been studying, teaching, coaching, and performing improv for many years and hopes to involve others, no matter their skill level, in the magical world of on-the-spot thinking and performance.

WHAT TO KNOW
•Dress in comfortable clothes that are easy to move around in.
•Bring a water bottle, snack, and lunch.
•DO NOT bring video games, laptops, or tablets.
•Cell phones are allowed to be used for emergencies only.
•Cell phones may be confiscated if used during camp time.
