Beginners Photography Class

We'll start with the basics and move at a pace the class can comfortably follow. We will step out of the classroom for a hands on approach for learning. Topics include lens selection and composition, depth of field and exposure. We'll put theory into practice by shooting together with on-the-spot feedback and tips to help you improve your photos.

Please bring your own camera or smartphone, any lenses you'd like to try, a fully charged battery and a spare memory card. Wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Meet at the Old Salem Visitor Center courtyard near the pedestrian bridge main entrance sign. If plans change due to weather I will message booked participants.
