Join us on Wednesday, August 27th from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM at Winona Lake Park (1598 Park Ave, Winona Lake, IN) for a heartfelt evening of remembrance, awareness, and community connection. In recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day, we’re gathering to honor the lives lost to overdose, uplift those who are still struggling, and raise awareness about substance use disorder in our community.
While International Overdose Awareness Day is globally observed on August 31st, we are coming together a few days early to give our community space to reflect, remember, and take action.
What to Expect:
This family-friendly gathering will include meaningful activities for all ages:

Enjoy family-focused activities to promote healing and connection
Hear from a local family impacted by overdose loss

As of August 2025, Kosciusko County has already lost 9 lives to overdose. This event is an opportunity to reduce stigma, support recovery, and take a stand together to prevent further loss. Whether you’ve been personally affected or simply want to show your support, your presence matters.
