About the event

We’re Still Here: The Language Between Land and Spirit (Shorts Program)
The films in this program invite us to consider the relationship between spirit, identity, and the land. They remind us that where we stand, whether upon the soil of our homeland or in a place entirely unfamiliar, shapes not only how we see the world, but also how we understand ourselves. It is from the meeting of place and spirit that the stories within us take root and grow. Curated by Farrah Murdock.

Farrah Murdock is an Anishinaabe and Nêhiyaw writer and director from Peguis First Nation and Fisher River Cree Nation.
