Winnipeg singer-songwriter Jared Adams will mark the 5-year anniversary of his debut album Tragic Nostalgia with a performance at Public Domain on October 9, 2025. For the first time since its release, the album will be performed front-to-back in its entirety, giving fans the chance to experience the record in a new and immersive way.
Joining the bill are Shay Wolf Band and Marshal Riley, rounding out an evening that promises to be both celebratory and deeply personal. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
Released in 2020 under the shadow of the pandemic, Tragic Nostalgia had only a limited release show due to capacity restrictions. Now, five years later, Adams is revisiting the record with the live treatment it always deserved.
“It hard to believe that it’s been five years since the release of Tragic Nostalgia. It was a big leap for me to put out my first full length album as an independent artist and it’s unfortunate the pandemic muted the fanfare around it, but I’m excited to bring these songs to the stage again and share them with my audience in a way I didn’t get to in 2020,” says Adams.
Co-produced by John Paul Peters (Royal Canoe, Begonia), Tragic Nostalgia draws comparisons to Father John Misty and Dan Mangan, blending lyrically rich songwriting with layered, melodic arrangements. Its themes of memory, change, and bittersweet reflection continue to resonate years later.
In celebration, all Tragic Nostalgia merchandise will be available at 50% off during the show.
