The Icelandic Canadian Frón and Lögberg Heimskringla are please to announce registration is open for its upcoming Icelandic Winnipeg Bus Tour!
The guided tour, led by Logberg Heimskringla Editor, Stefan Jonasson, will take participants through Winnipeg’s West End, highlighting landmarks and heritage sites tied to the city’s Icelandic roots.
Along the way, guests will enjoy a variety of experiences. A delicious lunch will be served by the Scandinavian Centre’s own Bonne Cuisine, and a photo exhibit by Signy Thorsteinson will be on display.
The tour also includes a visit to the University of Manitoba’s Icelandic Library archives, followed by a relaxing Kaffi Tími to close the day.
