Lewis County residents can drop off the following items for proper disposal and/or recycling from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., unless noted otherwise, Oct. 25 at the Lewis County Road Shop on Pleasant Valley Road between Napavine and Winlock. Please do not line early along the roadway.
Household Hazardous Waste Collection
Unwanted or left-over household chemicals
10 CFL Lights
All automotive fluid: 5 gallons each
Customers must leave containers at event; no pour off available
No containers larger than 5 gallons
No paint or PaintCare items (Please check PaintCare.org for PaintCare items and locations for free drop off)
TV and Computer Recycling
Up to two items per household
Flat screen TVs (all other TVs must be 42 inches or less in size), Computer Monitors, CPUs accepted.
Yard Waste Drop Off
Grass clippings, leaves, branches, yard debris
Scrap Metal & Appliance Recycling
Misc. scrap metal, lawn mowers (fluids must be drained)
Household appliances--Limit 2 per household (washers, dryers, hot water heaters, stoves, refrigerators, freezers, dish washers)
Please be prepared to unload your own vehicles!
