Join us this Thanksgiving Weekend as we celebrate the dedication of a Habitat home.
On Saturday, October 11 at 10:00 a.m., Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex will gather at 1675 Bruce Avenue in Windsor to welcome Lisa and her daughter Zoey into their Habitat home.
This house carries a remarkable history. Originally built in 2005 as part of the International Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project with Habitat Windsor-Essex and Habitat Detroit, it has already provided stability and opportunity for a local family. Now, 20 years later, the home is beginning a new chapter as Lisa and Zoey prepare to move in, achieving their dream of homeownership through hard work and partnership.
We invite friends, supporters, and community members to join us for this special dedication. Together, we’ll hand over the keys, celebrate the resilience of a family, and give thanks for what can be achieved when a community comes together.
