A 3-part workshop series to learn about basic hand-building techniques with clay.

About this Event

In this three-part workshop series, participants will learn basic handbuilding techniques using air-dry clay while experimenting with form and texture.

Each session draws on themes inspired by the current exhibition , encouraging participants to shape stories through clay while experimenting with new techniques.

Workshop Schedule

Workshop 1: Saturday, October 4, 10:30am-12:30pm

Explore pinching and modeling techniques, creating forms inspired by flora and fauna.

Workshop 2: Saturday, October 11, 10:30am-12:30pm

Learn coiling techniques while experimenting with storytelling through surface design.

Workshop 3: Saturday, October 18, 10:30am-12:30pm
