For throwers who are proficient at throwing small pieces on the wheel and want to transition to larger forms and to throwing with intention.
Throwing with Intention
This 2 Day class is designed for pottery enthusiasts with a strong fundamental knowledge in throwing simple forms on the wheel who are looking to refine existing skills and transition into larger forms and throwing with intention. Students must be able to comfortably center and throw small, simple forms with repeated success.
During this class we will walk through steps to improve the outcome of your pieces and problem solve issues encountered when throwing and trimming. We will introduce techniques you can use to achieve certain shapes in your pieces, bigger forms, hand-pulling and attaching handles and tips to get consistency throughout your work.
By signing up for Day 1 you are agreeing to attend Day 2 as well.
