Get started in the world of competitive Pokémon at League Challenge tournaments. These events are smaller, local events at recognized Play! Pokémon Stores that feature Pokémon VG competitions. League Challenges are entry-level competitions suitable for players of all experience levels.
League Challenge tournaments are designed to provide players with small, entry-level events on a local scale. These events are a great way to get your feet wet in the world of Premier Events. In the Pokémon Trading Card Game League Challenge tournaments, players in each of the three recognized age divisions can work toward earning Championship Points, potentially earning an invitation to the World Championships!
Pokémon video game players need to bring their own Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game and their own Nintendo Switch system.
Registration is from 11:00 to 11:55 AM EDT (UTC -4).
Entry fee: $10 CDN (taxes included) and completed team list per player
The VGC League Challenge begins promptly at 12:00 noon.

Team format: Regulation Set H
Tournament format: Swiss + Single-Elimination Rounds, number of rounds as listed in the VG Single Day chart in Section 5.5.4.1: Single Day Tournament Structures
Tournament rounds will be best of 3 game matches.
Prizes to be determined by player rankings at the end of the tournament.
