Fun night with comics from across Ontario and Michigan to support Jen Richardson as her family recovers from a devastating house fire.
July 24th local comedian Jen Richardson lost everything in a devastating house fire — including her beloved cat, City. While Jen and her family thankfully made it out safely, their home and belongings were completely destroyed.
Jen is a loving mom to 8-year-old Leila, who is heartbroken and trying to understand this enormous loss. As you can imagine, they’re facing the unimaginable right now — and they need our help. She's also a local comedian, producer and strong supporter of the Windsor Comedy scene, and has been for years.
Let’s come together as a community to support their family as they begin to rebuild their lives. Any contribution — big or small — will go directly toward helping them replace essentials, secure temporary housing, and begin to recover from this tragedy.
As a community, the comedians from across Ontario and Michigan reached out wanting to put on a show, so we dedicate this night to Jen Richardson and all she has done for the Windsor comedy community, from her shows she put on through Gangs All Here, to all she did in being a part of what made Windsor Laughs possible. Not just her contributions to comedy, but also her dedication to supporting all local artists. This is Windsor's opportunity to give back.
