Watch EVITA, reinvented on the Windsor stage this October.
Set against the backdrop of Argentina from 1934 to 1952, this Tony Award-winning musical follows Eva Duarte’s journey from a poor, illegitimate child to an ambitious actress and, ultimately, the most powerful woman in Latin America as the wife of President Juan Perón.
Narrated by Che, the story explores key moments in Eva’s life, including iconic numbers like “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina,” “Buenos Aires,” and “Another Suitcase in Another Hall,” composed by the legendary duo Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
With a captivating score blending Latin rhythms, jazz, pop, and traditional musical influences, Arts Collective Theatre’s reinvention of EVITA offers powerful roles, a large ensemble, and rich musical complexity.
