Patriotic Mixed Media

Embark on a creative journey with WanderBrush at Windsor Locks Senior Center on May 28th. Under the guidance of Kim Dittrich, guests will have the opportunity to explore the technique of creating a mixed-media American flag acrylic painting, drawing inspiration from the works of iconic Pop Artist Jasper Johns. Participants will delve into the unique approach of utilizing popular brand logos as the background, followed by the artistry of painting a flag-inspired masterpiece on top. Step away from the digital world for a few hours and immerse yourself in creating a meaningful artwork that symbolizes pride for your country. $30 residents and $40 non-resident. Ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets can be purchased at the Windsor Locks Senior Center at 41 Oak St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096.
