Author Talk with Local Author Lisajoy Sachs

Join us for an engaging evening with local author Lisajoy Sachs, author of Bright One. Lisajoy will share how she became interested in writing and what inspired her to tell the story of her great-grandmother, Jetti Finkelthal, a young Jewish mother facing impossible choices as war and antisemitism closed in on her community.

She’ll introduce the book’s background, read a brief chapter, and wrap up with a Q&A and open discussion.
Bright One will be available for purchase and signing at the event for $40, thanks to Briars and Brambles Books, the mountaintop’s favorite indie bookstore. A portion of the proceeds will support the Main Street Community Center.
